The Myth is Jackie Chan’s 2005 Asian blockbuster, not scheduled for American theatrical release. Set in China, Hong Kong and India, it’s a spectacular film, bordering on epic, with a cast of thousands for some of the ancient battlefield scenes. Jackie is in fine form as he matches his skills against Qin dynasty warriors, modern tomb raiders, and genuine masters of the rare Indian martial art of Kalaripayattu (a fascinating ‘behind the scenes’ showcases this seldom seen art).
