New Police Story premiered in Asia in September 2004. Jackie has stated that he is unwilling to give it to any American distributors because of the disappointing distribution of previous Hong Kong films, so the only place this is available is here. New Police Story is a two DVD set. Disc one contains the film in anamorphic wide screen with Dolby digital and DTS sound options. Disc two contains special features, including a Making of documentary (without subtitles) that reveals behind-the-scenes material on the staging of Jackie’s fights and stunts.
